Anthony Florence attended the University of Massachusetts and a computer electronics class at Benjamin Franklin Institute, where IBM hired him. After 20 years in the world of high technology, he became disillusioned with corporate life and moved with his family to Costa Rica. He and his family eventually moved back to the United States.
