I inhaled the book within 3 days.Compelling,on a true account narrative.Dear God…This was so profound on sharing the capacity of the human spirit.From the beginning of the ‘Prologue’ it is a full bore ride into the realm of the’candanga’,for the reader to experience and then to discover there is actually an 8th layer of Dante’s hell………About me,I left Costa Rica as a young man to work in the U.S……What I found out about our very small Tico colony in L.A. is,Costa Rica spits them out and chews them up by their own families,very dysfunctional.I am in Guanacaste now,for the last 6yrs we built our home.My wife tells me,’I’m back in Costa Rica chasing my own soul,and the people in my life that don’t exist here anymore for me’.And she is right ! That Costa Rica I left 2 lifetimes ago,doesn’t exist.Where people genuflected the sign of the cross over themselves for everything ! What a great fortune for me to have you and your book !
